AgroShield Sponsors 2022 Cornell Institute for Digital Agriculture (CIDA) Conference

AgroShield was proud to sponsor and participate in the 2022 Cornell Institute for Digital Agriculture (CIDA) conference on October 31 and November 1st.  The virtual portion of the symposium addressed how Agritech innovation can significantly contribute to climate solutions and a more resilient food system. Of particular interest was a discussion about Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA, indoor production in greenhouses and vertical farms) and sustainability considerations including energy, water, and fertilizer use, food-waste, food-miles, and packaging. The following day, the in-person event covered research innovation, new technology, and a vision of a “farm of the future.” Following the conference, AgroShield conducted several meetings with professors specializing in greenhouses, high-value field crops, and seed treatment to discuss potential trial studies for Bacilifol and Larixifol, two of AgroShield’s promising new bioproducts. We greatly enjoyed our time at Cornell and look forward to further interactions there.
