A 2022 Recap at AgroShield

Just as each passing year delivers new lessons and changes, so does each coming year present new opportunities and challenges. With 2023 around the corner, we wanted to highlight some of the accomplishments and challenges AgroShield experienced in 2022.

For many in our industry, 2022 proved to be very different from 2021. AgroShield’s Chairman, Richard Selby, describes how the contrast affected AgroShield and where it is leading us in 2023:

“The industry has had one of its most difficult years. Commodity prices have climbed dramatically over the past 18 months. In 2023, we expect them to pull back some, which may result in better profitability for the farmers, greenhouses, and lake managers we serve as long as grain prices hold up. Our customers are critical to the success of AgroShield— Their success is our success.

The global geopolitical environment has posed many logistical challenges for us in 2022, but we are confident that good things will come in 2023, as we strategically transition into a sustainable agriculture company. We have two exciting products: one that promotes leaf development and another that protects plants of all kinds. We are submitting OMRI registrations and plan to be in full force in the market during 2023. We expect a great response from our distributors and end users.”

The two products at the forefront of our sustainable transition are all-natural products: Larixifol and Bacilifol. Jeff Randall, AgroShield’s VP of Business Development, adds:

“In our assorted trials, over the past two seasons, both Larixifol and Bacilifol have proven successful as soil amendments, seed treatments, and foliar sprays. The findings show that these products improve plant health as well as demonstrate insecticidal qualities. Both products can be used on any ornamental, fruit, vegetable or field crop. With our partners, we anticipate better delivery of high-quality products for the 2023 season. Our client relationships are built through fair prices and dependable delivery. We plan to continue growing this way and look forward to adding clients in the 2023 season.”

AgroShield’s products and services are what set us apart and will continue to attract new business as we grow. To sum it up nicely, Richard Selby imparts this thought: “Despite many challenges, we have expanded our geographical footprint dramatically, and nearly tripled our revenue— because our products are simply awesome, and we hope to grow even more in 2023.”
