AGROSHIELD PRESENTS AT AQUADOC UNIVERSITY
AgroShield was thrilled to participate in this year's AQUA DOC University. The event was organized by AQUA DOC Lake & Pond Management, Inc. The company's staff from the main location were in attendance, both physically and virtually, to engage with attendees from other branches. AgroShield presented its current Vodaguard line, which is already being used by the company, as well as other aquatic products. One of the highlights of the presentation was a case study on the successful treatment of Roaming Shores, which AgroShield had previously presented to the Water Management Association of Ohio. The case study highlighted the effectiveness of AgroShield's VodaGuard C product in addressing the challenges of aquatic management in this particular region. Waterbodies, like Roaming Shores, experience many challenges due to nutrient runoff and pollution. One of the main challenges faced by aquatic managers is harmful algal blooms. To put it in perspective, one pound of phosphorus can produce up to 55 pounds of algae. With VodaGuard, aquatic managers can eliminate these harmful blooms in an efficient manner without harming other aquatic life. This treatment does not address the source of the runoff, but it does provide time for aquatic managers to implement other solutions that would not be attainable without the assistance of VodaGuard. During the presentation, AgroShield also shared insights on its upcoming products in development, including its adaptations of biochar to the aquatic environment. Biochar is another tool that can be utilized by aquatic managers to reduce phosphorus runoff. The company is committed to researching and developing sustainable solutions that minimize environmental impact while still delivering excellent results. Overall, the AQUA DOC University was an excellent opportunity for AgroShield to showcase its expertise in the field of aquatic management, and to demonstrate its commitment to innovation and sustainability. The company looks forward to continuing to collaborate with industry experts and stakeholders to advance the field of aquatic management and improve the health of our waterways.
